You’re invited to the PA Farm to School Network’s (PFSN) September virtual open house to learn about ways to celebrate National Farm to School Month in October. Anyone interested in learning more about farm to school activities and opportunities in PA are welcome to join!
Whether you’re an educator, a school food service staffer, farmer, producer, or community member, we invite you to join this open house to meet other PFSN members and learn how you can help advance farm to school efforts in your own community.
At the upcoming open house on Thursday September 28th from 1-3:30 PM ET participants will hear about National Farm to School Month and have a chance to learn from community members across PA who are planning to celebrate in creative ways! Celebrating Farm to School Month can look different in every community – whether you have big plans or haven’t thought about your plans at all, come to the open house to get inspiration and leave with some concrete resources, tips and ideas. You can enhance your existing plans or take a few small steps to celebrate in a way that makes sense for you. The first hour will include a few presentations, followed by 30 minutes of networking and open discussion time.
