Calling Student Leaders Across Pennsylvania!
The Pennsylvania Farm to School Network (PFSN) is excited to invite middle and high school students from across the state to join a virtual youth gathering on April 24 at 3:00 PM.
Date: April 24
Time: 3:00-4:00 PM
Location: Virtual (Zoom)
We are bringing together students who are passionate about gardening, farming, agriculture, animals, local food, and caring for the earth to connect with one another and learn more about the farm to school movement in Pennsylvania.
During this virtual meeting, students will:
- Learn about farm to school and the Pennsylvania Farm to School Network
- Meet other students from across Pennsylvania who are interested in farm to school activities
- Share about anything they have done or are working on in their schools or communities
- Explore opportunities to become youth leaders and representatives for farm to school in their communities
We’re especially excited to connect with students who are:
- Involved in school or community gardens
- Interested in agriculture or farming
- Passionate about food, health, and the environment
- Excited about leadership and creating change in their communities
Educators, youth leaders, and community partners are encouraged to share this opportunity with interested students.
