On March 26 from 3:00–4:30 PM, the PA Farm to School Network is hosting a Virtual Open House focused on growing strong farm to school partnerships.

Farm to school grows through relationships between farmers and food service directors, teachers and community organizations, schools and families. When those connections are strong, students gain meaningful experiences with local food and agriculture, and communities build more resilient food systems.

During this Open House, members of the PFSN Community Mentor Program will share how they’ve been cultivating partnerships in their regions. You’ll hear real stories about how connections were formed, what has worked well, challenges they’ve navigated, and the impact these collaborations are having locally. Their experiences will offer practical ideas and inspiration for anyone looking to strengthen farm to school efforts in their own community.

This event is open to anyone passionate about local food and student engagement. Whether you’re just getting started or have been doing this work for years, you’ll leave with new ideas and new connections.

Register here to join us on March 26 to learn, connect, and celebrate the power of partnership in growing farm to school across Pennsylvania.
