The 108th Pennsylvania Farm Show will be held from Saturday, January 6th through Saturday, January 13th in Harrisburg, PA at the PA Farm Show Complex & Expo Center.

The PA Farm Show is an excellent opportunity to learn more about food and agriculture – especially for kids, families and anyone interested in connecting children to their local food systems in meaningful ways. Don’t miss the engaging cooking demonstrations with PA grown crops and products at the PA Preferred Culinary Connections stage, see the PA Friends of Agriculture‘s Mobile Agriculture labs in action and meet a plethora of live animals while learning how integral they are to our communities. Connecting Communities & Opportunities: Equity in the Food System

  • What: Through engaging discussion, participants in this event will explore ways to bridge gaps, address disparities and ensure everyone has access to healthy and sustainable food. The session will feature a dynamic panel from all walks of life across Pennsylvania to share their food stories.
  • For who: Individuals, organizations and community members passionate about creating a fair and inclusive food system for all.
  • When: Sunday, January 7th from 4:15 – 6:00 PM

Celebrating the Successes of the PA State Farm Bill

  • What: During this joint hearing of the House and Senate Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committees, participants can share and gain valuable insights into the positive impacts of the Pennsylvania Farm Bill on our agricultural community. With the theme of “Connecting Our Communities”, attendees will celebrate this historic legislation and continued advocacy for agriculture in the Commonwealth.
  • For who: Individuals or organizations who have benefited directly from a PA Farm Bill program, including the PA Farm to School Grant which supports increasing nutrition and agriculture education opportunities for pre-kindergarten through fifth graders.
  • When: Wednesday, January 10th at 9:00 AM
