You’re invited to the PA Farm to School Network’s (PFSN) September virtual open house on September 26th from 3-4:30 pm to discuss National Farm to School (FTS) Month celebrations.

National FTS Month is this October! Thousands of schools, early care and education sites, farms, communities and organizations across the country will celebrate FTS by engaging kids in hands-on learning experiences about food and agriculture, through school gardens and by filling lunch trays with healthy, local ingredients that nourish Pennsylvania kids and support our communities’ farmers and growers.

The virtual open house featured presenter, Courtney Mulcahy, Professional Learning Facilitator & Educator from Vermont Feed and Shelburne Farms, will present on the 3 Cs model of FTS programming: cafeteria, classroom and community.

A panel of farm to school practitioners will share how they plan to celebrate National Farm to School Month with one of the 3 Cs. Participants will also have the opportunity to network and discuss National FTS Month celebrations in small group discussions.

Register to attend the virtual open house, held over Zoom, here!
